An Anandian strikes again after a lapse of several years

We are immensely proud to announce that W. A. Chirath Irodha, a distinguished student of Ananda College, has achieved the remarkable feat of securing the island first place in the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2023 in the Physical Science (Mathematics) stream. His outstanding Z-score of 3.0271 reflects his dedication, intelligence, and hard work.

Chirath's achievement is a testament to his relentless pursuit of academic excellence and the unwavering support of his teachers, family, and friends. His accomplishment bears witness to the leadership taken by the Principal Mr. D M L P Dissanayeke and the Management to improve the academic standard and skills of the scholars to excel in national level examinations. Throughout his time at Ananda College, he has exemplified the qualities of a true Anandian, consistently demonstrating academic prowess, leadership, and a commitment to excellence.

Chirath had his primary education at Dammissara National School, Nattandiya and secured 184 marks at the Grade 5 scholarship examination and joined Ananda College at Grade 6. He brought glory to Mother Ananda as he secured 9A passes at the G C E Ordinary Level Examination 2020.
